This area is a work in progress now that I have my free-time back post program. So far I’ve been able to incorporate reading, traveling and enjoying time with friends into my regular schedule.

What are your favorite Chicago activities?
I love exploring different neighborhoods and the continuously evolving restaurant scene in the city.

Did you work full time through the program?
I was employed full time.

Was time commitment reasonable?
Time commitment was reasonable, but did vary by quarter depending on class specific workload.

Were you able to balance work and school?
With proper planning I was able to balance both work and school.

Internal Consultant at Health Care Services Corporation (Blue Cross Blue Shield – IL TX OK MT NM)

How has the program changed the way you view healthcare?  
My professional background and experiences have focused on problem solving from the business perspective. The program expanded my viewpoint to problem solve from the member/patient perspective. While slow on the uptake, the industry is finally starting to focus and solve on behalf of the patient experience.  My learnings from the program have placed me ahead of the curve to solve patient centric problems.
