Why did you choose the MS Health Communication Program at Northwestern University?

I chose the MSHC program with Northwestern because it felt like the right choice that fit my lifestyle and what I was looking for in a Masters program.  It suited my schedule of working full time as well as being a prestigious university and growing new program.  I was also drawn to the fact that it combines both the Health and Communications/business worlds in one.

What are your career goals?

As of now, I am seeking growth opportunities within my current field of work in terms of leadership and look forward to where this degree can take me.

What is your favorite part of the program so far?

One of my favorite parts has been meeting and getting to know everyone in the class, including the faculty and professors.  It is really exciting to hear about everyone’s varying career paths and interests and is a great way to learn about new opportunities.

Any tips on balancing school, work, and life?

Just ensuring you prioritize accordingly and prepare to dedicate the necessary time to complete the work.  Making friends and getting to know your classmates is super helpful as well!  Everyone wants to succeed and they are great resources so make a group chat and you can all ask questions and stress together.
