Why did you choose the MS Health Communication Program at Northwestern University?
I chose the MS Health Communication Program at Northwestern University because I believed it would assist me in my journey to changing my career path.
What are your career goals?
My career goals are to improve the quality of care that patients receive in our healthcare system and to ultimately start a non-for-profit organization, that focuses on underprivileged and homeless women.
What is your favorite part of the program so far?
My favorite part of the program is the diversity within this year’s cohort. Everyone has such unique and distinct backgrounds both academically and professionally, which makes the program extremely interesting and dynamic.
Any tips on balancing school, work, and life?
Time management is key! Try and prioritize the things that are most important in your life during this time and remember that things change, so try to not get overwhelmed!
Is there any additional advice or information that you would share?
I would suggest to not be fearful of new experiences. You’ll never know what you can accomplish, if you don’t try, so go for it!
